Family Business
Cal and Lulu Designs is a family business run by a mother-daughter duo. They have been working together since 2008, and hope to do so for the rest of their careers. Carolyn studied art for years and it led to her passion in interior design. She was then able to share that love with her daughter when she brought her into the business to run the technical side of things. Now they both can’t imagine doing anything else!
Our Company
Cal and Lulu Designs focuses on interior design and home staging. They work to bring you into your home and make your dream home possible. Carolyn is also an expert when it comes to window coverings! She specifically works with Hunter Douglas, Kirsch Window Coverings, and Carol Fabrics to make your home even more beautiful with the perfect window treatments for your space.
We are currently serving the New York Metropolitan Area and the Greater Boston Area.

Carolyn has been practicing interior design for over ten years. After studying art at the College of the Holy Cross and Interior Design at Rhode Island School of Design, she started a successful a floral design company, Twigs and Sprigs, which she ran for 22 years. After that she launched her own interior design business. Her passion for decorating and eye for style is unmatched, and she is very excited to work with you!
Carolyn Prohovich
Lauren is the daughter of Carolyn Prohovich. After studying mathematics at American University, she has joined her mother’s company to run the financial and technical aspects of the business. She has been helping Carolyn with her work for the past seven years and has really come to enjoy interior design work. She is looking forward to continuing to work on this business with her mother and cannot wait to work with you!
